Pirates
9oz are an up and coming Rap/Hip Hop group from Glasgow,SCOTLAND. The Group consists of Hazardous Houdini(rapper/producer) Murderous Meek(rapper) Spud(rapper) and Jammin'(rapper). The group started as just us friends having a laugh, and mucking around with our favorite music genre. After a while, we realized that we where better than most in our area, so we took it more seriously, bought recording equipment and the rest is history.......
Why this name?
The name 9oz was chosen as it relates to something we do and love,MARIJUANA!!!
Do you play live?
We have never performed a gig, we freestyle at partys etc.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Good if your an artist looking for a breakthrough, bad if your already an artist.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Band History:
The Group has consisted of more than the 4 members stated, at first Chunky B,Danny Boi and DJ Macca where all involved but decided to go there own ways, still spittin with us sometimes though.
