Two guys in the group, dedicated to change the face of hip-hop. Right now all the music sounds the same and the words have no meaning. It's time for a change. Quincy Mullins "Q" aka "2 Much", and Mark Mullins aka "Smooth".
Why this name?
It's a long story on how we got the name, but the bottom line is we both have one vision, and one destiny, and that is to create music, better music than what we hear today.
Do you play live?
Of course
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it just broadens the industry. Now you can hear music from a singer in China and you could live in New York. It brings artists from all over the world together, and it opens the door for talented artists to get noticed. But the selling of music on the internet is hurting the music industry, big time. Now its so easy to download a whole artists album on the internet, it takes away from cd sales!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If God willing, yes
Band History:
We started a while ago, but we wasn't that serious about it. Our first name was called The Hats because we were sitting in church waiting for our parents and we were talking about making a music group. Then we came up with The T.I.G.H.T.S. Together In God Hearing Tightness, but we quickly strached that one. Then we came up with The Brothaz and we stuck for awhile and then that broke up. Then after a hiatus we came with One Destiny, and ever since then we stuck with it. At first we tried to go the Christian Rap rout, but it wasn't working so we decided to go mainstream, but still stay strong in our Christian faith. We don't rap about the same things everyone else raps about. We're seperated and called for a different purpose.
