1205 was created by a hustler for hustlers. A hustler is anyone out creating income by any means necessary. On the 9-5 or as the CEO/Owner...you hustle; be it your product, conversation or ideas, you take whatever you got and sell it.

Why this name?
When the DBA was registered in 1997, I found myself "Living Off 12th Street with nothing (0) but $5." Hence the name 1205. Later Psalms 12:05 became our foundational reason.
Do you play live?
Yes, I used to only play live in Austin, Texas but over the last three years I've managed to travel from Louisianna to Florida for paid performances. I enjoy meeting and greeting my fans.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3's has made it possible for me to build a fanbase in France and Japan! The internet as a whole has made it possible for me to build 1205 into whatever I need it to be for any client.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
A major label could buy out the contract 1205 has with any of its artists. Business is business. The artist from 1205 come already bred and ready to heat up the booth.

Created in 1997 out of aggression.
Released first EP "Reasoning" in 2000
Created Positivity for Purpose (P4P) in 2001 for balance.
Released album "Realness" in 2003.
Created YEM Promotions in 2005 out of necessity.
Released compilation "The Works" with Notative Productions' artists, Mr. Miggie and Swivol in 2006.
Released first commercial album "Out There Bad" thru Snocap on Myspace in 2007.
Official release of "Out There Bad" will be this Fall 2008.

UGK, Ghetto Boyz, NWA, BWA, Yo-Yo, Ice Cube, Public Enemy, MC Lyte, Indie.Arie, Keysha Cole, Trina...so many to name.
Favorite spot?
Haven't found a favorite yet, but I'm partial to Tampa and Orlando.
Equipment used:
Mr. M.I.G.G.I.E. (www.myspace.com/notativeproductions) and Swivol (www.myspace.com/tremindusthegreatswivol) are 1205's main producers. We just recently produced great street tracks with Siza Handz out of Nashville, TN. He will be our featured remix producer in 2009.

The South region has been getting recognition in hip hop since day 3. People can stop acting brand new to it. The Ghetto Boyz killed it back in 1985 so what's the fuss about? I won't say a word about UGK.
